Duties:
·Projects - Will be assigned projects (enhancements, maintenance, projects).
Responsibilities will include data modeling, design documentation, development coding, etc.
·Production Support - Fulfill ticket request as directed by CLIENT
Skills:
·SQL 7.0/2000 ANSI and Transact SQL
·Designs logical and physical models for OLTP (Online Transactional Processing) databases
·Thorough knowledge of the relational database model and techniques.
·Experience in designing, modeling, developing and supporting RDBMS in Microsoft SQL server
·Experience in logical and physical database design, hands-on data modeling techniques, and development methodology. Proficiency in the concepts and practice of database normalization techniques
·Thorough knowledge of structured query language - SQL including programming and ways to optimize SQL code.
Knowledge of server-side development issues surrounding triggers, stored procedures, functions and packages
·Develops and maintains views, stored procedures, functions and triggers
·Manage resources and project time lines
Database Architect Associate
Primary Duties:
·Reports - Produces scripts to meet report extract requirements as defined by the ticket.
Process the request by ticket priority unless otherwise directed by CLIENT.
·Job Monitoring - Monitors all SQL Jobs. Attempts to trouble shoot and document all failures. Contacts On-Call CLIENT DBA prior to any resolution step
Secondary Duties:
·DBA Admin Normal Operations - Per DBA Service Level Agreement.
These requests would come in as tickets. Process the tickets by priority unless otherwise directed by CLIENT.
·Code development as assigned by off shore development architect

·SQL 7.0/2000 administration. Backup, Restore, configuration, setup, cluster, DTS, Jobs, documentation
·Oracle administration a plus
